Written Declaration in the European Parliament

Conservative Animal Welfare welcomes the Written Declaration in the European Parliament (26/2011) which asks Member States to adopt relevant stratagies on the management of the dog population that include such measures as sterilisation of owned and stray animals, dog laws and the promotion of responsible pet ownership.

This declaration was launched by Romanian MEPs with support from MEPs from Germany, Spain and Poland.

CAW hopes that MEPs from the UK will support this declaration.
